Romero These guys are really hot and surprisingly yet so tender with their pets. January has handsome, fair, high cheek boned and long lashed Kyle looking tenderly with half closed eyes at his adorable little black and brown big brown eyed dog, Emma. It says Kyle likes to tell Emma all his secrets and get this, Emma likes to spread false rumors. Isn't that sweet and such a tease. I just love it! And all the pages are the same. They haves guys for every taste, thin ones, real husky ones, and in between ones. They also have guys with different complexions from fair to dark. They have two African American guys and some guys that look like LatinoHot Guys and Baby Animals 2016 Wall Calendars. My mom says the guy on the cover looks like Mario Lopez and I agree. About the Author Coleman Mitchell enjoyed a business career which offered an opportunity to work in more than 30 countries around the globe. Because of this good fortune he has either worked or has resided in all of the locations and countries used as backdrop for the Ho Bo Woods.

As a young man the author served as a combat Infantry Officer with the 82nd Airborne Division in Vietnam. The Ho Bo Woods is very much a real place. It was also the author's fortune to have experienced the heat, snakes, mosquitos, and other things resident in the Ho Bos.

Today the author serves as an Instructor of Geography at the University of North Florida. He teaches a range of courses in Cultural, Physical, Religious, Political, and Economic Geography.

Coleman Mitchell resides in Jacksonville, Florida with his lovely wife Jannefer and their two cats Miss Kitty and Che.

He is a native of San Francisco, California.

By Linda Smitherman Yes I couldn't wait to get the book I have enjoyed reading the book cannot wait for the next issue to come out!! I feel it has told a story of a man's life and it makes you appreciate life and everything around you. My husband was a Vietnam vet and I can relate.. once you start reading the book you just can't seem to put it down it is so interesting. It starts out very strong I just can't imagine what the men and women had to go through and again it makes you really appreciate life! but the PTSD will be with you forever. Bless this writer, he did a fantastic job!! and like I said I can't wait for the next issue to come out.

Coleman Mitchell captures what it was like in VN. His story tells it like it is and am sure many of those out there remember Viet Nam like this. It is not sanitized. Except for a few errors by the editor, this book is a powerful first effort by the author. I hope he writes more. Loved it.

Realistic, Gut wrenching, Emotional rollercoaster By krf From the moment chapter one opens you are riveted to a time and place that becomes three dimensional: you feel, smell, hear the jungle…you are there! The character development is masterful as it captures human experiences of what it is like to live in "hell on earth" both in the flesh and in the mind. The author takes you on a journey of a man's life and his reality of events as they intertwine with his "demons" through the choices that he has made. You grow to love this complicated man, appreciate his circumstances, cheer with his friends on his triumphs, and cry with him as he endures losses in his life. It is a story that helps us to empathize with our Viet Nam Vets, the history of the time, the legacy of the war, and it epitomizes the insanity of war and its insoluble destructive aftermath of the human soul. May Coleman Mitchell continue his writing legacy engrossing us in yet another novel for he is truly a gifted author and I cannot wait to see what follows: The Ho Bo Woods.

About the Author Ken Filing is a retired entrepreneur who enlisted in the navy at age seventeen and served during the Korean War earning the Korean Service Medal with three battle stars. He and his wife Teddy have traveled the world, some of which was on their own boat. They have visited many islands and sailed forested rivers. Now after retirement, they enjoy winters in their Florida condo where Ken spends his time writing novels. Currently this is his sixth published adventure novel. Ken has also documented many of his sailing adventures that remain unpublished and are enjoyed by family and friends. This novel is based on true historical facts of lost tribes and Amazon women in the Amazon Basin.

The daughter of an Amazon warrior, the life she has known with them changes and she must embark on a trek away from the past and into the future. That this future is uncertain and, that it takes place in the Amazon, is also mined with many dangers from weather, wildlife (both animal and 'human' wildlife). But, Calida has a goal, to discover her roots. The characters she meets along this journey of self-discovery, against a background of life in a jungle, (including the medicinal properties of the regions natural herbs) the book is much more than am adventure story (though it succeeds there too.) It's a story of hope, meeting the challenges one must face with cunning, self-sufficiency, and resolve. Some books collapse or slow down in the 'second-act'. Not this one, as Calida's ultimate path takes her ...well, read it yourself . (that she "was taught many cures by a shaman..." is a hint. These themes are not overt but arise from within an entertaining novel that sweeps the reader, (almost as if on a magic carpet) from the 1st to last chapter. That Filing has joined the ranks of the best adventure writers is confirmed by Mistress of the Amazon.

Jeremy Spencer has definitely knocked this out of the park By caitlin Jeremy Spencer has written an in your face autobiography that he has used his wicked sense of humor to tell his tale from a drug addled teenager to sober upper teen and twenty something year old to the total chaos that surrounded his life with the formation with one of the fastest rising rock bands of the past 20 years. Jeremy also delves into the reality of many struggling musicians and draws to light the misconceptions of self help groups where they say they can help you but sometimes there are even stigmas there as well, when it comes to alcohol abuse and being in a band. Jeremy's quick wit and humor has made this tale not only about his trail to sobriety but the reality of many musicians that travel across the country on a day to day basis in order to survive. Jeremy Spencer has made a book that was fun to read but also well thought out with his structure of going back and forth between his early years as a child growing up in Indiana to LA to Nashville and then back to LA then onto Las Vegas. This is definitely one of the most intriguing autobiographies I have read in a long time, I would compare this to the Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx and also 7 Deadly Sins by Corey Taylor. I would you suggest that you give it a try and not be surprised when you are laughing your way through this book as well as awed since he isn't dead yet. Jeremy definitely has a way with words.

Jeremy's unique sense of humor combined with pop culture references along with the use of grandma Heyde's sayings ( blind sow finding an acorn is by far my personal fave) helps to break up the downer that is the subject of addiction. There were many times in the book I found myself not liking the person that Jeremy was ( and I'm sure he felt the same way while writing it out) however, his determination to succeed both personally and professionally made me admire him. Rock on and stay strong!

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. my essay i mean REVIEW By Mrs. J. Walker The fist time I heard that Jeremy was going to be releasing his book I couldn’t contain my excitement. I have been a huge fan of five finger death punch for so long but always having a soft spot for Jeremy. Of course it was absolute torture waiting for the official release date, and when it did finally come round, I had to wait almost 2 weeks to get my copy. It was definitely worth the wait. I don’t often get excited about books and it has been years since I read a book from start to finish. I honestly couldn’t put it down! I spent my Sunday morning curled up on the sofa with death punch’d in my hands just reading. It had me encapsulated right from the very first word (this doesn’t happen very often), I got so completely lost in the book, that it actually allowed me to mentally visualise the words that I was reading. I just want to thank Jeremy for allowing not only myself but the entire world to be able to see a small glimpse of what his life was like, from a very young age, to more troublesome times and somewhat disgusting details (you’ll know what I mean when you read it) as he got older. The things that this man has gone through are somewhat unbelievable in places, but for him to be able to come out fighting on the other side is just beyond words. He truly is an incredible man and he should be extremely proud of himself, because we (the fans) certainly are!

The authors present an amazing amount of material in a straight-forward, easy to understand manner. If you're looking for a book to cover domestic violence and the response, this is it.

SO it depends on what the book is needed for whether it will be helpful. Personally, I was not a fan. It was shipped and delivered on time and was in great condition! 2 Thumbs up to the seller!
