A compelling character to start things off By Erez Kabaker Its always a pleasure to step into the shoes of a fully realized and complex character, without having it shoved in your face by cumbersome writing. In this appetizer of a story we meet, Mauk the competent and mysterious type. By the end of this short story I am curious for more.A good tale should start with a compelling protagonist, and A Flame from the Sky does just that.
