Adam’s world was turned upside down when he found out he was a royal descendent of the Torian Empire. Blake knows in order to win over his people he must begin the cleansing in the royal family. He targets his Grandson Adam, the first half breed Prince. He knows he must assassinate Adam before his eighteenth birthday, the time when Torian minors become aware of their true power. When his attempt fails he sends out trained assassins to murder him. Adam is on the run, fighting for his life, and is determined to uncover the truth about why the empire fell.

The story revolves around cleansing of the so called, ‘mixed race’ by Blake! The imaginative concept of electricity generation and projection of soul are worth looking out for.“…three hundred years ago four astronauts got lost in space, and crash landed on an unknown planet behind Saturn. It is not visible by telescope, because Saturn’s rings camouflage it...” This quoted paragraph created a lot of interest in me to read further and explore more about Torin!Michael and Adrian are passionately in love with each other. They are ready to face all adversities to keep their love alive. Their only son Adam, the protagonist, faces problems due to a twist in the story. There is a mix of love, emotions, deceit and friendship portrayed well in this novel. The false concern of Blake and the high drama in the family is explained well by the author. Certain evil intentions and ideologies can make one go against their own families has been highlighted effectively. Sincere love, empathy and truthfulness can make one face hardships with a bold and strong attitude is the message learnt from this novel.The revelation of Sharon and her intention and wish of making Martin the new crown Prince comes as a shock. The real prince and his chemistry with his girlfriend, is attention-grabbing!Though the novel has a very promising story, the grammatical errors pose as a major drawback. I had a tough time reading many sentences due to grammatical errors! This is the reason I have given this novel only three stars.NOTE: This Novella was reviewed by me on receiving a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

I loved it and wasn't expecting to By Rebecca Lee I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.Adam is on the run from his power hungry grandfather who aims to purify his alien race of part alien/part humans such as his own grandson.It's an intriguing story premise and the author does a great job of building an action-packed, well-paced story around it.Not the genre I would normally read, but I cared about Adam's fate. When that happens, it's obvious the credit goes to the writer.Highly recommend for sci-fi fans.
