Everyone knew that something unusual was going to happen when the moon rose above the horizon, big as a pumpkin, glowing blue, but no one had any idea that this event would transcend time.

Suspence, travel, history, relationships and a dog! The author has a great way of mixing the future and the past. His extensive sailing experience is evident in many details. I highly recommend this high seas adventure to readers of all ages.
