This book not only showed how exceptional Morgan Freeman is, it also showed that successful as he may be, he is just a normal person like us. That he didn't have a perfect life. and that he worked hard to be where he is today. It is also fascinating to learn interesting facts about Morgan Freeman, like he has been to Broadway and that he starred in soap operas. That he is fluent in French and is quite a dancer. The book also provided quotes to live by, that will inspire you to keep chasing your dreams. Morgan's big breaks came when he was in his 50s, showing us that it is never too late to shine.

Some quotes are included,as are photos sprinkled about.I learned some new things I did not know prior to reading this fact-filled e-book.Well written and knowledgeable.
5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Great book on a great actor By Rachel Horon I remember Morgan Freeman long before he started in movies. You don't forget a voice like Easy Reader when you grow up watching Electric Company. As entertaining as he was back then, the depth of his movie roles makes him more interesting to read about. "The Inspirational Life Story of Morgan Freeman" allowed me to look back and some early favorites like The Shawshank Redemption. He is also a positive role model who reminds adults that with hard work and perseverance, greater success can come, even if it is later in your career. Appreciation for what you have is one good lesson from this book. Despite struggling in his childhood and an alcohol addiction, he proved to be able to work hard and conquer obstacles that could have changed the direction of his success. As a person, he stands for his beliefs even if it faces criticism. I also enjoyed the chapter of his quotes, such as "Literacy could be the ladder out of poverty." This is a great biography with life lessons from the experience of a memorable actor.
