1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. One violent scene following another. Insufficient character development By Mary B. Honestly, I wanted to love this book. Great cover, great description. i sat down with the book hungry for a good read and left disappointed. I went back to the book to see whether it was simply my mood, and tried reading some chapters again, and had the same experience.But, as the book unfolded, it was one violent scene after another with little in between to give it a rest or to move the story along. Each experience was followed by one killing, mutilation of a body part, theft etc. after another. Very little in terms of moving the story along in a positive way. Just when you think that the story will move in a good direction and the characters will be flushed out more, you end up with another escape story with over the top drama.
