Former Navy Seal Jake Javolyn, a dive boat operator by profession and part-time smuggler by necessity, has come to Haiti to fulfill a solemn promise made to a comrade-in-arms killed in the mountains of Tora Bora. Hiring his boat out to a renowned marine zoologist, he sets course for Navassa Island only to stumble across a beautiful girl in the open sea. Encircled by a pod of six white dolphins, the girl is found riding a seventh much larger but similar creature. Javolyn quickly discovers the girl has extraordinary powers, and her companions are unlike any sea mammals he has ever encountered. Shortly thereafter, they lead him to a hidden cove teeming with life where fantastic riches abound beneath calm waters, upon which he is plunged into a world of the supernatural and confrontation with iniquitous forces bent on vengeance and the capture of nature’s most recent miracles. Evil has asserted itself in the form of a most unlikely alliance, one which Javolyn finds himself pitted against. A sadistic colonel seeks to take control of Haiti by forging an unholy partnership with a vicious drug ring and Islamic terrorists. In a race against time, Javolyn and the girl must stop an insidious plot aimed at obtaining a catastrophic weapon lying in the ocean depths near Navassa Island. The Girl Who Rode Dolphins is a one of a kind nail-biting adventure that will leave readers spellbound and enthralled with its superb mix of intense action and mysticism.

From Javolyn's honor and heroism, to the tender-caring, righteous, and naive nature of Destiny each character is carefully honed in each chapter. A multitude of sub-plots visited and re-visited until they are fully developed and merging into the climactic end at the last chapter. Full of military, scuba, engineering, technical gadgetry jargon to expand the mind of the uninformed and make those in such fields feel at home. It is a story of good verses evil with many action sequences and close calls reminisce of agent 007. It has a little of everything (action, romance, andventure, geography, history, etc. too much to list). At 711pgs completing the read is an accomplishment. However, the saga proves to be rewarding in the end. I hope Mr. Ganas will continue the work of the dolphins in developing their colony by supplementing what seems to be a base volume with shorter follow-up volumes to keep us abreast of how these intelligent creatures fair in their desire to change the hearts of a multitude no man can number.
