But there are obstacles to overcome and those in power that do not wish him to succeed; plus crazed survivors that roam a dead city. Ciabaton Terminal Point (The Hunter Drune Series Book 1) is one of the best Science Fiction stories that I've read in 2012.Author, John Jason Lee, uses strong character development to skillfully weave together this dark Science Fiction tale. This books is incredibly suspenseful and action-packed.You'll enjoy this book if you're a fan of Military Science Fiction, zombie stories or dystopian movies like Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.I'm very much looking forward to more stories in The Hunter Drune Series.

It is not for the faint-hearted nor those who like a happy ending, but if you like excellent detailed fight scenes and don't expect cheerful resolutions this is a very good read indeed. The characters are realistic and well described and do just what is expected of them. I have a feeling that the next one will be just as thrilling and as hard to put down.
