I spent many years traveling and compiling information along the way until I finally decided to put pen to paper. My aim was to write a series of novels that fused the action of authors such as, Andy MacNab, with the intrigue of, Sidney Sheldon, and the eroticism of Harold Robins, and I sincerely hope I managed to achieve exactly that.G.E.Cerio.

I was captivated by the author's easy reading style and character development By John Rodriguez I was captivated by the author's easy reading style and character development. The dialogues and accounts were raw and honest. I was taken away with the strength of the women characters, especially Vanessa and Choy. The intimidating world in which they live, resounds in the strength of their characters as they control their encounters.Jonnie McBride is a realistic paradox. Unlike most Hollywood versions of the action hero, McBride is revealed as a contrasted character that rationalizes his actions and encounters, and realistically contemplates the reactions and desires of the other characters.The explicit encounters made me flush, as I was surprised by the raw perspectives that effectively choreographed the thoughts and actions of the characters.Veiled in the Shadows left me wanting more, I look forward to experiencing McBride's next adventure in The Traitor Within.I would recommend this book for mature readers. I'd also recommend viewing the author's website, gecerio.com, which provides interesting photos and a fuller biography of the author.

There is no page fillers of dreary nonsense, it is action all the way. The author obviously did his homework, especially when describing Bangkok and the way some Thai girls speak English. The lesbian scenes also hit the mark. The main character, Jonnie McBride, is realistic and can be related to, as can Vanessa Stock and the rest of the characters. I give the author top marks for entertainment and will certainly keep my eyes open for more of his thrilling work.R.J.
