About the Author
Jay Fusaro is the principal and founder of Eureka Professional Services where he provides his clients with the skills and techniques necessary to conduct efficient and effective job searches. Jay is a CPA in Texas and a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He earned a Business Coaching Certificate from the Learning Resources Network in partnership with Southern Methodist University.
Rosemary Fusaro was a Dallas banker for more than 25 years. She holds a BA from Douglass College at Rutgers University-New Brunswick and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.

The Best Do It Yourself Guide I've Seen for Job Seekers By Bob S I bought this for my nephew who always seeks my advice as I knew he was planning a job change. I read it the night it arrived before forwarding it to him and realized I was helping him much more with this one book that I could with a month of my time. It has all he needs to self-manage his impending job search, from working local networks to interviewing. Fusaro's experience is multifaceted and he combines his experience as former interviewer, then job seeker, and now job counselor to cover all the bases. This book walks you through the process from targeting employers to writing well designed letters, bios, and resumes, to planning what you'll speak about and how long is enough. It provides knowledge and advice on self discipline to avoid overdoing anything. If me nephew needs me this time, I'll be surprised.

The best interview prep and succeed book I have ever read By Jill R "From the Other Side of the Desk" is an excellent guide to prepare for the job search whether you are just starting out, mid-career, or someone like me who is a long time employee wanting to make a change, but have extremely rusty job search/interview skills. Jay outlines a strategy and self marketing plan which are easy to follow and key to your success. He also provides insight regarding how to answer those "hard questions" everyone who interviews faces; turning those so-so moments in your career into learning experiences which broadened you. An easy read which will get you motivated to make contacts, seek interviews, be comfortable through the process and succeed. I highly recommend!

I read it in one sitting, and the next day completely upgraded my search strategy and approach, information and tools. Finally, a clear and concise guide to what I need to know and do to efficiently land my next job. My background and experience is there, but now, with Jay's information and expert advice, I'm more confident than ever and ready to go in to the next all important interview. From the Other Side of the Desk is essential reading for everyone, at any stage of a job search.
