An Un-Shattered Reading By Colton Schlauderaff Sky takes readers on an incredible adventure through the tension one young bird experiences between her and the outside world in her debut novel. Friends, enemies, and love-interests are formed, but Dargetha learns that these don't last forever. With an insightful look into a bird's environment, readers learn everything from botany to flying to even unexpected relations. Plot twists and cliff-hangers linger around every page turn mixed with well-written character developments and descriptions. Everyone of all ages would be delighted to read such an astounding work of literature.

Humans declared war on the Kestrels when they learned they could talk. Obviously, this is an allegory that works extremely well and manages to show the futility of war and the ups and downs of love, be it personal or colony. I very much enjoyed reading this and hope she will publish more of her writings.
